Style: Cartoon Genre: Music The genre for this example/image is music, it is an album cover and the style used for this is Cartoon. The composition of this album cover with the cartoon child draws your attention towards it because of the colours used on this album cover and the background colour is very light but it looks simple, but simple can be better. The image of the child remains dominant because of the darker colour. Shocking Day Analysis
Textual analysis The advert starts off with the little girl blowing out her candle, from these props we can infer that it is her birthday and she is spending it with her Mum and Dad. Also at the beginning the natural lighting is very bright and the mood is very cheery. She is surrounded people she knows and loves this changes towards the end because she is surround by the complete opposite.she starts off as such a kindred spirit then she her spirits drop to dull faces. From the location from one of the screenshots i can tell that it is London by the skyscraper which looks like a tall dome and also you can tell by her accent as well. At the beginning her appearance is that of a healthy,happy young girl wearing nice looking clothes.
