Trailer Analysis

                  Snicker Advert Analysis

The scene starts off with an establishing shot of temples in Japan with guards lurking around  the temples, it is based in japan because of the style of temples and the guards are in Samurai attire which originates from japan. It then cuts to a long shot to show ninjas sneaking past the guards and then its shows Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson) clumsily following behind in a close up to add a comedic style to the advert. Then the cutting speeds as a non diegetic sound is played throughout and the cutting rate increases to show the conversation between Mr Bean and his companions tell him to focus.

The cutting slows to show some more establishing shots of the temples and Mr Bean and his companions running across the rooftops. Mr Bean is still slacking behind in a comedic style, one reason they chose Mr Bean was because he is well known for his clumsiness.

Mr Bean falls through the roof when he jumps onto building, as he looks around he is surrounded by guards and then a shot of the guards as his companions watch in concern for him via a close up of both guards and companions, then there some diegetic sound as the people talk amongst each other ready to attack Mr Bean. Then its shifts to a close up to his hand reaching into his pocket to find a Snickers. A close up shows his amazement, he stares at it like it is his savior. It is. He takes a bite from it and cuts to the reaction of the guards who are confused as the camera goes back to Mr Bean who has transformed into an Asian person is ninja robes.

This is to show how the Snickers made him a different person who is skilled and more alert rather than being clumsy. He somehow leaves through the hole he came in from and the trailer ends with Dialogue from Mr Bean's companions congratulating him and then the life changing Snickers is show with famous slogan is " Get Some Nuts"
